Upcoming GG4H Field Trips/Activites 2019:
- 1/19/19 GG4H Club Wagon Ride- 3pm, Please RSVP to Amy
- 3/8/19 Farrier Presentation by David Arnold at 4:30pm, at Cedar Ridge Equine (555 Rocky Road, Bozeman, MT).
3/25/19 Belgrade FFA Chapter will be presenting a parli-pro presentation to the club.
3/25/19 Equine Certified Helmet Presentation, which is required for all 4H members to watch prior to participating in any riding activities.
4/6/19 GG4H Eagle Mount Community Service date is from 9-11 a.m.
Riding lesson and Ground School Lessons for Gallatin Gallopers: May 3rd Friday 4:00pm
after school, and /or May 4th Saturday at 10am, 11:30am and 1:30pm . There will be a variety of group lessons available these days to meet various levels of experience. Riders may choose to ride English or Western.
Location: Cedar Ridge Equine 555 Rocky Road Bozeman

The 4H Communication’s Help Day is scheduled for Wednesday March 6th at the Fairgrounds Building #4 at 6:00pm.
The 4H Communications Day and Stir Ups Cooking Contest is scheduled for April 27th.
Starting Monday Feb. 18th weekly Monday evening workshops on improving Public Speaking skills for High school, middle school students and 4H members. For additional info. please email: email@example.com
MSU Workshops for Gallatin County 4-H Gallatin county 4-H is lucky to partner with Dr. Arnold’s Ag Education 309 class. The MSU students are putting on workshops for volunteers, parents and teens. This is a great partnership, as it benefits both 4-H and the MSU students in their education. Here is the list of workshops that will be put on by the MSU students. Please come and support these students at the workshops and don’t forget volunteers can earn a fair pass (two workshops) or $5 towards a club or project of their choose.
Date: February 26th Walking into Records (4-H Record Book Training) Time: 6:00-7:30 pm Location: Gallatin County Extension Office Get tips and tricks on completing record books and ways to motivate youth to complete their record books. Learn how you can use technology to help complete youth keep records that and complete their record book.
Date March 4th:It isn’t about the blue ribbon– learning from failure Time: 6:00-7:30 pm Location: Gallatin County Extension Office Winning isn’t everything. In fact we often learn the most from when we fail. In this workshop we will teach how to accept failures, how we can learn from them, and how to teach younger members how to gain from failure.
Date: March 27 th Communication through Technology Time: 6:00-7:30 pm Location: Gallatin County Extension Office Are you ready to take your club’s social media and communication tactics to the next level? This workshop will transform the way your club collaborates internally and reaches out through social media! Topics on how to use social media, tips to professional email and presentation slides, and basic video production. It is highly recommended that participants bring a digital device (smartphone, tablet, laptop). Hope to see you there! Gallatin County 4-H has some iPads that participants can use at the workshop.
